I've always pride myself on being able to handle things calmly and coldly when it comes to situations(it includes my past r/s(s)) not involving my parents.

every misunderstanding that is solved, brings much more to a relationship. Its like planting a tree. misunderstandings are like fertilizers. not essential but it catalyze the growth and strengthen the health of the tree :D

During Mother's Day, Mama(Ivern's mom) asked us about engagement plans! =O She asked if we wanted to announce it on his birthday. XD

Oh ya. I call his mom, Mama now.*blush

So the next barrier... is... yes.... a troublesome one.

my lao ma.

we discussed on monday(the day after mother's day)

apparently my lao ma still haven't prepare her heart,soul and mind for my big day, so she thought it was too fast.

I lost my cool, but thank god Laogong keep his and calmly negotiated with my lao ma.

Seems like she agreed to doing away with engagement and going straight to rom next year, but she still needs to talk my dad and granny.

When i heard, these two words "Madeline's granny" I was like WTF! no. I dislike this women, whom i'm forced to call ah ma. I call her Empress Dowager in front my mom and i do explicitly express my dislike. :p Well letting her know is ok but asking her to talk to mama? O_o Isn't it what a mother should do? why should it be done by the empress dowager? tsk. can't stand my mom Orz. *fails

On the other hand, I told my Mommy(she said she's gonna kidnap me from my real mom XD) from California, Nikol, she was all excited and was checking with me the prices of the flights to SG xD. I hope she can come with the cute little ones. My cute little brothers can play drums! I should let them do it during the wedding dinner. XD

Talking about them, its been long since i saw them on cam. Blue eyes(we call him that), was so cute and small. I remember he even gave me a flying kiss :3 Tarzan and lil punk was running around and having fun, but still stopped to say hi to their big sister(me). Tsk. I miss them.

Oh yes, i digressed. So, my lao ma has yet to give me an answer and hopefully she gives me one today. She goes to see the Empress Dowager every friday = ="

She nags at me to go too. If i have the time, i rather go to my nanny's place. afterall my nanny is the one who took care of me when i was one month old till i was sec 1. She feels more like a granny to me than that Empress Dowager. Seriously, I feel more love towards her & her family than i do for my family.

Don't get me wrong. I intend to take care of my family when i start working, BUT its is an obligation, i can provide them with food and shelter and take them out, but its all because I think that i should repay them for the money they have spent on my education and bringing me up. I can't say i love you to my parents, but i can say it to my nanny and her husband. A "i love you" without meaning it will just erode the true intent of this phrase and i don't like that. When i say i love you willingly, it means that i really do love you. well, if you throw a tantrum because i didn't say it, i'll just say it to you in some a i-dont-give-a-damn manner. I won't look at you in the eye and say it.

That said, I love you guys! Like honestly~

ohhh.. last semester, i had one subject that i was not confident of passing, the results weren't as bad as i expected! I aimed for a pass but i got 70/100. Its not that bad right? XD
