A law which stipulates that children cannot say that they don't want to live with parents might be passed down.

in this case, maybe the price for flats should be reviewed? If both husband and wife's parents want to live with them, there will be at least 6 people living in a flat? What if the couple have children? how big a flat would the couple have to support? what if the couple's parents still have their parents with them? so it will be like 10 people in a small flat? Not everyone can afford to support a bigger flat. Money plays a big part in maintaining the happiness of people in the current society. Money isn't everything but without money you can do nothing.

Even if money ain't a problem, will parents from both sides get along? Everyone has to be responsible to care for their parents if their parents take care of their expenses when they are young. If they don't, whose parents should be the one to leave? Either way, one will have to be the 'scapegoat'. Who is willing to do that? Who should be the one to do that? The wife? The husband? normally both would not want to bear the 'sin' of it. To decide who should be the 'sinner' will be a major cause for divorce in any case. Or should the parents hang in there, let quarrels get bigger, affecting the couple? This will eventually lead to a major issue that might break the family apart.

Conflicts as such will happen a lot more and it might possibly lead to higher divorce rates. Maybe lawyers specializing in divorce will weep tears of happiness when it happens.

It can even lead to a fear of getting married. Maybe one day, married couples will not leave together. In the end, birth rates will probably drop? Aging population situation will become worse. What will become of the country?

Sure, parents they have had a longer life and thus more experience in life. if they live with us, they can 'teach' us how to live our lives(they will expect us to follow their instructions. Don't follow? You'll get hell). but, too many cooks spoil the stew! Teaching us how to live our lives is also absurd. Shouldn't we have to right to choose how we want to live our lives? Sometimes we take a gamble, knowing the full consequences of our actions, but we still decide to do it. These experiences forms who we are and what we are as an individual. If what the country wants is to create more people like our "parents", why not just clone them? tsk.

I wonder how well thought out this regulation is. Is it the path to a "happier family" or a path to destruction of families?
